A Saturday Prayer – The Word Became Flesh and Dwelt Among Us

A Saturday Prayer - The Word Became Flesh and Dwelt Among Us

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. — John 1:14 NKJV

Lord Jesus, as we prepare our hearts for Christmas, we thank You for coming to earth as a baby to pay the price for our sins on the cross. You are good, You are faithful. And Lord, if this reader is suffering, if she’s struggling, help her. Christmas isn’t always joyful, especially when going through difficulties. Encourage her, uplift her, and strengthen her. May she sense Your presence this very moment. In Your name, amen.

About Hope for the Valley

Hope for the Valley is the ministry God has entrusted to J.K. Stewart—wife, breast cancer survivor, and follower of Jesus Christ. Soon after her diagnosis, she started a women’s cancer support group. Two years later, she launched Hope for the Valley, a website of devotions and prayers for women with cancer. J.K. lives in Texas with her husband, dog, and four cats. When she’s not writing, she’s either studying her Bible, walking her dog, or vacuuming pet hair. Connect with her and the ministry of Hope for the Valley on FacebookTwitter, or Google+.
