What is Man that You are Mindful of Him?

What is Man that You are Mindful of Him?

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? — Psalm 8:3–4

Do you know how much God loves you?

He loves you so much that He gave His only begotten Son. Whoever believes in Him—this includes you—will not perish but is guaranteed everlasting life (John 3:16).

The God who created the heavens, the moon and the stars, is mindful of you. The God who created the mountains, the deserts, and the seas, knows your name. The God who came as man to take away the sin of the world is with you.

He loves you.

He cherishes you.

He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Go to Him. Seek Him. Share your heart.

He’s waiting.

Lord, help this reader know that You love her with a love that will not let her go. A love that is deeper, wider, and higher than she can comprehend. May You give her the peace beyond all understanding, the comfort only You can give, and the strength to face each day. In Jesus’ name, amen.

  1. Thank you for the passage today. One decade of my life I lived as a prodical daughter…not even thinking about the ramifications of my actions. When Satan LIED to me telling me God didn’t love me anymore I believed him. I didn’t love me so I could understand how God couldn’t. Took me decades of studying and praying and pleading with the Lord to love me again. Silly I know but that was my life until one.day it happened!! He does love me….He always has and I love me and life is good….no life is wonderful. Thanks for letting me share this.

Connie, thank you for sharing. I understand completely. For years, I struggled with believing God loved me. I knew He did, but yet, I couldn’t believe with my heart. Satan sure knows how to deceive us. So thankful you and I are on the other side, basking in His love.

  2. Amen and amen
